Dry Stone Walling Process
- Site visit to assess your site and discuss your plans. We can take measurements, create a design and estimate the cost at this stage
- Ordering stone
- Preparing the site – you may need groundworks, ground clearance or stripping back of existing walls or boundaries to prepare your site for your new dry-stone wall
- Building the wall – Digging foundations (these may be up to 30cm deep depending on soil type), laying the stonework, adding coping stones

The cost of your dry-stone walling will depend on the amount of walling required and the type of stone selected for the job. If we are required to match existing stonework, the cost could be higher due to the need to source reclaimed stones.
